Our very own Don Kiddoo will be offering a local topic (lecture) at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany on Sunday, February 23 —“The Great Awakening of Parson Jacob Green.” It’s Green’s own story of his years at Harvard College 1740-1744, and his call to come serve the Hanover congregation, where he stayed 45 years. Straight out of his auto-
biography published in 1831. It’s local history, important American history, a serious case study in human psychology, and one in 18th century theology as well (which is why the venue of First Presbyterian Church.)
